The upcoming flying vehicle, designed to accommodate four to five passengers, will offer both manual and autonomous driving modes. Featuring a 270-degree panoramic dual-seat cockpit, six wheels, and vertical takeoff and landing capabilities akin to a helicopter, the vehicle promises a unique blend of convenience and cutting-edge technology.

Xpeng Aeroht plans to begin pre-sales in China during the fourth quarter of this year, with the vehicle expected to be priced at $200,000. This pricing strategy aims to make flying cars more accessible to a broader market.

Wang Tan, co-founder and chief designer of Aeroht, expressed optimism about the favorable environment for flying cars in China. He noted that many regions have implemented supportive policies for the low-altitude economy, creating a conducive environment for the adoption of flying vehicles. The company aims to sell 5,000 units within the next two years, reflecting its confidence in the market potential.

In 2021, Xpeng Aeroht had already made significant strides by raising $500 million from a group of investors. This latest round of funding underscores the continued interest and investment in innovative transportation solutions that promise to reshape urban mobility.

With these developments, Xpeng Aeroht is poised to lead the charge in transforming how we think about and experience urban transportation, paving the way for a future where flying cars are a common sight in our skies.
